MTN is one of the
best and largest network provider in Nigeria with over 50 Million subscribers.
In this post, I will be dropping three different APN settings for you to swap
from whenever their network tends to be sluggish.

MTN APN Settings For Smooth And Stable Browsing
What you have to do is to create three APN settings on your phone. Below are the APN settings and these APN settings also applies to MTN 3G & 4G sim

- APN:
web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
- APN type:

- Proxy:
Leave blank
- Port:
Leave blank
- Username:
web or leave blank (your choice)
- Password:
web or leave blank (your choice as
well)
- Leave the rest at default.
Second APN
1.
Name:
Smartcore 2
- APN:
web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
- APN type:
default,supl
- Proxy:
10.199.212.2
- Port:
8080
- Username:
web
- Password:
web
- Leave the rest at default.
Third APN
1.
Name:
Smartcore 3
2.
APN:
web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
- APN
type: default
- Proxy:
127.0.0.1
- Port:

- Username:
web
- Password:
web
- Leave
the rest at default.
The trick here is,
you have to add these three APN settings, and swap from them whenever you
notice slow connection on MTN.
I prefer the third
APN settings with the private proxy. I recommend that settings to you as
well. But you know, it all depends on your area though. That’s why you have to
try out all in order to see which one covers your need and of course, I will
like to know which one works best for you in comment section below.
